This policy explains what data All Controller Test collects (very little), what it doesn't collect (your controller input), how affiliate links work, and how your information is handled when you use this site.

[ 01._CONTROLLER_INPUT_DATA ]

We do not collect, store, or transmit any controller input data. All diagnostics — axis readings, button states, trigger values, circularity traces, polling rate measurements, 30-Second Hardware Scan results, and vibration test outcomes — are processed entirely inside your browser using the W3C Gamepad API. No input data leaves your device at any point during or after a test session.

There is no server-side component to the controller tester. The test runs as JavaScript in your browser tab. Closing the tab ends the session. Nothing is persisted beyond your local browser memory.

[ 02._AMAZON_ASSOCIATES_AFFILIATE_LINKS ]

All Controller Test participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Product links on our Recommended Gear page, in guide articles, and in 30-Second Hardware Scan results are Amazon affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase on Amazon.com, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

When you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies on your browser as part of their standard purchasing and attribution process. These cookies are governed by Amazon's own privacy policy at amazon.com/privacy, not by this policy. We do not control Amazon's cookie or tracking practices.

Our affiliate relationship with Amazon does not influence editorial content. Products are recommended based on technical relevance to controller type and diagnosed hardware condition — not commercial arrangement.

[ 03._ANALYTICS_&_TRACKING ]

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand general site traffic — for example, which pages are visited, which browsers are used, and approximate geographic region (country level).

We do not use advertising networks, behavioral tracking, retargeting pixels, or any third-party analytics that share data with advertising platforms.

[ 04._COOKIES_&_LOCAL_STORAGE ]

We use browser localStorage only to remember your interface preferences, such as theme selection (light or dark mode). This data never leaves your browser.

We do not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site session cookies from our own domain.

You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's developer tools or site settings.

[ 05._CONTACT_FORM_&_EMAIL ]

If you contact us via email ([email protected]), we receive your email address and message content. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not added to mailing lists.

[ 06._THIRD-PARTY_SERVICES ]

The site may load static assets from third-party CDNs (such as Google Fonts) and product images hosted on Amazon's CDN (m.media-amazon.com). These requests send standard HTTP headers without controller telemetry.

[ 07._CHILDREN'S_PRIVACY ]

All Controller Test is a general-audience diagnostic tool. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
